Conspiracies, deception and dark magic

The darker, the better when it comes to romance and magic. That's probably why I'm such a fan of BL Lucas' short story in the new "Spirit of Love" anthology -- "The Shadow of the Queen."

I had the pleasure of first reading this during the critique phase for the anthology. And even knowing how it ends, I couldn't wait to finish it when I read it in the actual book, too.
